Renewable Natural Gas
When waste is buried in landfills, it naturally emits methane, – a potent greenhouse gas that contributes to climate change as it decays. Instead of letting that methane escape into the atmosphere, we capture it and turn it into something useful: renewable natural gas. It’s like giving waste a second chance to do some good in the world.
Our process starts with collecting the methane gas emitted from the landfill and processing it to remove any impurities. Once the gas is cleaned, it’s compressed and purified into a clean energy source that can be used for transportation, heating, or even electricity generation.

Renewable Energy for All
The RNG produced through the process of upgrading landfill gas can also be used by specialized generators that turn the methane into green energy. The energy produced through this process is then made available on the grid for utility companies to distribute to their customers.

By-Products
Producing renewable natural gas isn’t the only thing we are pioneering at Neu Energy Solutions. We are also developing methods to capitalize on the byproducts produced in the process of transforming waste into RNG. Liquified CO2, for example, is another product that can be monetized from the biogas upgrading process.
